Salt Lake City (January 15, 2025) 4Life Chief Scientific Officer Dr. David Vollmer has been named a member of the prestigious American Association of Immunologists (AAI).

AAI envisions a healthy and enlightened global community through groundbreaking immunological research and enhanced public understanding of immunology. The mission of AAI is to improve global well-being by advancing the immunological sciences and supporting scientists with the dissemination of knowledge and late-breaking inquiry. The AAI is committed to empowering, inspiring, and educating immunologists by advocating for the resources required to advance immunological enterprises.

To become a member of AAI, an applicant must apply for admission and be approved by the AAI membership committee and the council. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in immunology or a related discipline and be an author of at least one reputable peer-reviewed journal article in English.
